How big is a large garden room?

Listed sizes in this collection run from 353 to 585 sq ft; the Kaarlo 70 has 219 sq ft inside plus a 155 sq ft terrace. Each product page lists its square footage.

Are these flat-pack garden room kits?

Some are. The Kaarlo 70, for example, is a DIY kit that arrives flat-packed with doors and windows included, while the roofing cover and rain gutters are available as extras. Check each listing for what's included.

Can a large garden room include a bedroom?

Yes. This collection has 14 one-bedroom suites, from the Glostrup 44 (404 sq ft, $18,951) to the Sawmill Structures Tremblant (420 sq ft, $144,000).

What do the 44, 70 and 90 in the model names mean?

On Garden House 24 models, the number matches the log wall thickness in millimeters. The Skanderborg 44 has 44mm (1.73 in) Nordic spruce walls, and the Skanderborg 90 has 90mm (3.54 in) walls.

Do I need a permit for a large garden room?

Usually, at this size. Requirements depend on your local zoning and building codes, so check with your building department before you order.
