Raised Garden Bed Kits and Add-On Options

Choose a straightforward standard kit or upgrade larger beds with a Deer Fence, Bird Net Frame & Cover or Greenhouse configuration. Space-saving designs include the cedar 3' x 5' 4-tiered corner bed and 5' x 5' 2-tiered L-shaped bed, and the Western Red Cedar Greenhouse Kit comes in 8' x 8' and 8' x 12' sizes.

How much does a raised garden bed kit cost?

Standard kits run from $479 for the 4' x 1.5' Urban bed to $2,849 for the 8' x 16' bed. Versions with a greenhouse, deer fence or bird net reach up to $4,049.

What sizes of raised garden beds are available?

We carry 4' x 1.5', 6' x 3' (standard and Urban), 8' x 5', 8' x 8', 8' x 12', 12' x 8' and 8' x 16' beds, plus tiered 3' x 5' corner and 5' x 5' L-shaped designs.

Is it cheaper to buy or build a raised garden bed?

Building your own can cost less in materials, but it takes time, tools and planning. A kit gives you a set design plus matching options like deer fencing, bird netting and greenhouse covers.

What do I put in the bottom of a raised garden bed?

Many gardeners lay cardboard over existing grass, then fill the bed with a blend of quality topsoil and compost. Local conditions vary, so check with your local extension office for soil recommendations.

How do I keep deer and birds out of a raised bed?

Yes. Greenhouse versions are offered on the 6' x 3', 8' x 8', 8' x 12' and 8' x 16' beds, and a Greenhouse Cover Only option starts at $360 for the 8' x 8'. The Western Red Cedar Greenhouse Kit runs $4,046 to $5,046.
