Adirondack Chairs

Nothing says porch, dock or fire pit like an Adirondack chair. Our Adirondack chairs come in three materials: weatherproof LuxCraft poly lumber in dozens of colors, Westminster Teak loungers, and handcrafted Fireside Lodge Voyageur chairs built from cedar logs. Choose a classic chair, a rocker, a glider or a two-person seat, then add a matching footrest or ottoman.

Types of Adirondack Chairs

  • Classic and deluxe Adirondack chairs: the wide-arm, slanted-seat design made for lounging.
  • Adirondack rocking chairs and gliders: smooth motion for porches and patios, including two-seater and balcony-height gliders.
  • Folding and balcony Adirondacks: fold flat for storage or sit taller so you can see over a deck railing.
  • Adirondack dining and swivel chairs: Adirondack styling at dining, counter and bar heights.
  • Teak Adirondack loungers: a reclined teak lounger with optional ottoman.

Poly vs. Teak vs. Cedar Log Adirondack Chairs

Poly lumber (LuxCraft) won't rot, splinter, fade or need paint, making it the lowest-maintenance choice for sun, rain and snow. Teak (Westminster Teak) is a dense hardwood with natural oils that weathers to a silver patina. Cedar log (Fireside Lodge) gives a rustic, cabin-style look with natural rot resistance.

What is the best material for an Adirondack chair?

For the least maintenance, choose poly lumber: it won't rot, crack or need painting. Teak offers a premium natural-wood look, and cedar log suits rustic and cabin settings.

Are poly Adirondack chairs worth it?

Yes, for most homeowners. Poly chairs handle sun, rain and freezing weather year-round and only need a wash with mild soap and water.

What is the difference between a glider and a rocking Adirondack chair?

A rocker moves on curved runners, while a glider slides back and forth on a fixed base, so it uses less floor space and stays put on a deck.

Do Adirondack chairs come with footrests?

Footrests and ottomans are sold separately. We carry matching LuxCraft footrests, Fireside Lodge ottomans and a Westminster Teak footrest.

Can I get help choosing a color or style?
