How much do air purifier replacement filters cost?

Austin Air pre-filters run $29.49 to $34.49, and main Austin Air replacement filters run $289.99 (HealthMate) to $569.99 (Bedroom Machine). Airpura pre-filters run $49.98 to $64.98.

How often should you change a filter in an air purifier?

It depends on the model, how many hours it runs and your air conditions. Follow the manufacturer's replacement schedule in your owner's manual.

Can you clean an air purifier filter instead of replacing it?

Most main HEPA and carbon filters are meant to be replaced, not washed. Check your manual for which parts, if any, can be cleaned.

What's the difference between a pre-filter and a main filter?

A pre-filter is an outer layer that catches larger particles before air reaches the main filter. Both Austin Air and Airpura pre-filters are sold here separately.

Which filter fits my Austin Air purifier?
