Purpose-Built Caddie Golf Rooms

The Caddie 44A, 70A and 70B ALU ISO rooms were designed for golf simulators. They have 323–333 sq ft of open floor, an 11.7 ft ridge height, sliding glass doors, aluminum framing and double-glazed ISO windows. Prices run $18,957 to $29,086 for the kit.

Plan the Room Around Your Swing

  • Width: at least 10 ft; 12 ft or more lets left- and right-handed golfers share.
  • Depth: 15–20 ft for the screen, mat and launch monitor.
  • Height: 9–10 ft of clearance where you swing a driver.
  • Climate: add insulation and a mini-split to protect your electronics.

What is the smallest room for a golf simulator?

Plan on at least 10 ft of width, 15–20 ft of depth and about 9–10 ft of ceiling height where you swing. Our Caddie golf rooms give you 323–333 sq ft and an 11.7 ft ridge height.

Is 12×12 big enough for a golf simulator?

Usually not for a full driver swing. 12 ft wide is fine, but you need more depth for the screen, hitting mat and launch monitor standoff. Aim for 15–20 ft deep.

Is an 8 ft ceiling enough for a golf simulator?

For most adults, no. A full driver swing usually needs 9–10 ft of clearance. That's why many golfers build a dedicated room instead of using a basement or garage.

What's the best layout for a golf simulator room?

Put the screen at one end, the hitting mat 10–12 ft in front of it, and the launch monitor behind or beside the golfer. Leave room behind the tee for seating.
