Foundation & structure. Poured piers, levelled frame, sealed envelope — on a raw, sloping desert lot with no prior prep.
Finished and standing. Roof on, entry deck and steps built, door hung. Same site, same crew.
Every site is different. Yours might be flat grass or a slope with a narrow gate — we assess it on the call before anything is ordered.

Common questions.
What does a Freedom Room actually cost?
It depends on size, site and scope, and we'd rather give you a real number than a vague one. Broadly: compact builds under 120 sq ft start around $9,000, mid-size builds land in the $18,000–$35,000 range, and large guest suites run higher. Your consultation produces the actual figure for your project, including foundation and hookups.
Do you build in my state?
We deliver nationwide and install through our partner crew network across the country. We'll confirm crew availability and lead times for your ZIP on the call.
Do I need a permit?
Sometimes yes, often no. Plenty of smaller structures fall below the threshold in many jurisdictions — though adding power or plumbing usually does trigger one, even when the structure alone wouldn't. Either way you don't handle it: we prepare the drawings, file the applications, submit to your HOA and meet the inspector.
What if my yard isn't ready?
That's the normal starting point, not a problem. Sloped, overgrown, uneven, awkward access — site prep is part of what we do. Clearing, levelling and the foundation are all included in the number we give you.
How long does the whole thing take?
Lead times vary by structure and by how much site work is involved, and permits can add time depending on your jurisdiction. We'll give you an honest timeline for your specific build on the call, including where our install calendar currently stands.
I'm months away from deciding. Is it too early to book?
No — that's most of the people we talk to. Knowing your real number and seeing the rendering early is exactly what makes the decision easier later. There's no pressure to move on any timeline but yours.
Can I just buy the kit and build it myself?
Absolutely. Plenty of our customers do, and we'll ship it to you and stay out of the way. Mention it on the call and we'll price it that way instead.
