Acoustic Panels

Acoustic panels absorb echo and reverb so a room sounds clearer and calmer. Our collection features GIK Acoustics panels and mounting hardware, a good fit for home offices, studios, game rooms, and garden rooms where hard walls make every sound bounce.

Panel Styles and Sizes

The Classic and FlexRange panels come in 2' x 2', 1' x 4', 2' x 3', and 2' x 4' sizes with a wide range of fabric colors. For something more decorative, the DecoShape panel comes as a 2-foot hexagon or circle, and the SlatFusor combines absorption with diffusion. Ceiling panels, freestanding panels, and a ScreenPanel vocal screen round out the lineup.

Mounting Options

Not every room needs screws in the wall. Freestand Feet and the FlexRange Panel Stand let panels stand on their own, and the Ceiling Cloud Bracket hangs panels overhead.

Do acoustic wall panels actually work?

Yes, for echo and reverb inside a room. They absorb reflected sound, but they are not soundproofing, so they will not stop noise from passing through walls.

How much do acoustic panels cost?

GIK Acoustics panels in our collection start at $64 for the Classic panel, and most run $64 to $199. The ScreenPanel vocal screen is $399, and mounting hardware runs $19 to $69.

What is the difference between acoustic panels and soundproofing?

Acoustic panels improve how a room sounds by cutting echo. Soundproofing blocks sound from getting in or out, which usually takes added mass and sealed construction.

Which acoustic panel is most effective?

Thicker panels absorb lower frequencies. The DecoShape, for example, absorbs down to about 200Hz at 2 inches thick or about 100Hz at 4 inches.

Can acoustic panels go on the ceiling?

Yes. The GIK Ceiling Acoustic Panel comes in 2' x 2' and 2' x 4' sizes, and the Ceiling Cloud Bracket lets you hang panels overhead.

Can I use acoustic panels without mounting them to the wall?

Yes. The FreeStand Acoustic Panel stands on its own, and Freestand Feet or the FlexRange Panel Stand turn other panels into movable units.
