Outdoor Swings For Adults

Outdoor swings for adults are built wider, stronger and more comfortable than a typical porch swing, so two grown-ups can sit back and relax on the porch, under a pergola or in the garden. Our swings are made by LuxCraft from recycled poly lumber that will not rot, splinter or need painting.

What is the best outdoor swing for adults?

Look for heavy-duty, weatherproof materials and a seat sized for two. Our LuxCraft swings are built from poly lumber with stainless hardware, so they won't rot or need paint.

How much does an adult porch swing cost?

Our 4 ft porch swings run $708 to $810, 5 ft swings run $916 to $1,018, and the Lanai deep seating loveseat swing is $2,906.

What size swing should I buy?

A 4 ft swing suits two adults and smaller porches. A 5 ft swing gives two adults more room. Allow clearance in front and behind for the swing's arc.

Will poly lumber swings hold up outside year-round?

Yes. Poly lumber handles sun, rain and temperature changes without rotting, cracking or needing paint. Clean with mild soap and water.

How do I hang a porch swing?

Hang it from a solid ceiling joist, beam or a freestanding swing frame using heavy-duty hooks and chain. If you're not sure your structure can carry the load, ask a contractor.
