Owning both a gas oven and a wood-fired pizza oven is how most people end up solving this. Gozney Dome Gen 2 Natural Gas Pizza Oven lets you choose: it runs on natural gas, wood, or charcoal in the same chamber. It is forty percent bigger than the original Dome, with a removable 30mm cordierite floor that takes two 10-inch pizzas or one 16-inch, and a digital console reading air and floor temperature with dual meat probes for everything that is not pizza.

Care & Maintenance

  • Have the natural gas connection made by a qualified fitter, and shut it off at the source before any work on the oven.
  • Let the oven cool fully before removing the stone or fitting a cover.
  • Brush the cordierite floor clean when cool; never use soap or water on it.
  • Clear wood ash from the chamber before switching back to gas so it does not sit against the burner.
  • Hand wash the meat probes and keep the connectors dry; do not submerge them.
  • Take the batteries out if the oven is stored over winter, and buy the cover if it stays outdoors.
