Our wooden carport kits and garage kits are built from Nordic spruce logs and ship as flat-packed DIY kits. The lineup runs from the Carport Kampen 44, a flat-roof carport with a small enclosed storage room, to double carport and garage combinations like the Erki 44 and Erki 70 with 745 sq ft of roof coverage.

Carports, Garages and Combination Designs

Every model pairs covered parking with an enclosed room. Carports such as the Hugo 44 and Hans 70 include a separate storage room. The Garage Bjarne 44 adds double-glazed windows and a covered terrace, and the Garage Morten 44A combines a lockable garage with an open-sided shelter under a split skillion roof.

44mm vs 70mm Log Walls

Most models use 44mm (1.73 in) solid log walls. The Carport Hans 70 and Double Garage and Carport Erki 70 step up to 70mm (2.76 in) walls. Each kit includes a closed shell with internal walls plus doors and windows, with roofing cover and rain gutters available as extras.

How much does a wooden carport kit cost?

Our wooden carport and garage kits run from $7,930 for the Carport Kampen 44 to $22,176 for the Double Garage and Carport Erki 70. The garage-style Bjarne 44 and Morten 44A are $12,990 and $12,756.

Is it cheaper to build a carport or buy a kit?

It depends on local material and labor costs. Our kits arrive flat-packed with the closed shell, internal walls, doors and windows included, so compare that against a quote for a site-built carport of the same size.

Do I need a permit for a carport?

Often yes, but rules vary by city, county and HOA, and size usually matters. Check with your local building department before you order.

What sizes are available?

Roof coverage ranges from 299 sq ft on the Kampen 44 to 745 sq ft on the Erki 44 and Erki 70. Enclosed rooms range from about 55 sq ft on the Hugo 44 to 306 sq ft on the Erki 44.

What is included with the kit?

Each kit includes a closed shell with internal walls plus doors and windows. Roofing cover and rain gutters are available as extras, and a floor is included on some models (such as the Kampen 44 and Hans 70) but not others, so check each listing.
