Choose a straight island like the Austin 9ft, which pairs a Ruby Series Pro Sear 4-burner gas grill with a 13" sear station, double side burners and a bar sink cocktail station, or go bigger with layouts like the Rancher L-Shaped 8'11" x 11' and the Savanna 16ft with a 60° angle. Hybrid gas and charcoal packages, the Kamado 8ft, wet bar and bar center islands, and the ADA-compliant Cabana 10.7ft are also available. How much does an outdoor kitchen island cost?

Our Sunstone outdoor kitchen island packages range from $6,667 to $27,486. Most 8- to 10-foot packages run about $9,400 to $16,200, while the largest islands, like the Big-Texan 21ft, run over $20,000.

What are the different types of outdoor kitchen islands?

The main types are straight islands, L-shaped islands like the Rancher, and angled layouts like the Savanna 16ft with a 60° angle. There are also islands without a grill, such as the 7ft Bar Center and the Savanna 8.5ft Wet Bar.

What comes in an outdoor kitchen island package?

It varies by package. The Austin 9ft includes a 4-burner gas grill, a 13" sear station, double side burners, a bar sink cocktail station, cabinets, drawers and a cocktail ice chest, while the 7ft Bar Center includes a 34" double sink with hot and cold faucet, an insulated ice bin and a granite countertop.

What size outdoor kitchen island do I need?

Our packages run from about 5.5 feet to 21 feet long; the Austin 9ft, for example, measures 108" W x 28 1/4" D x 34 1/2" H. As a general rule, leave room to work behind the island and follow the grill's clearance requirements for nearby walls and overhead structures.

Can I get a charcoal or hybrid grill island?

Yes. The Alamo 9ft, Alamo 10ft, Dallas 9ft 11in and Dallas 14ft packages include hybrid gas and charcoal grills.

Is there an ADA-compliant outdoor kitchen?

Yes. The Sunstone Cabana 10.7ft ($9,687) has an open sink base cabinet that meets ADA height and clearance standards, plus a 30" Ruby Series gas grill and a 37" double sink.

What utilities does an outdoor kitchen need?

Gas grills need a propane or natural gas supply, and sinks need water and drainage. Requirements vary by location, so check local codes and use licensed trades for gas, plumbing and electrical hookups.
