The thing that stops most ovens from travelling is not weight; it's cool-down. Gozney Tread Pizza Oven is lightweight aluminum and steel with single-layer insulation, hot in about fifteen minutes and cool enough to pack in twenty. A lateral gas burner throws flame across the chamber the way a wood fire does, over a removable cordierite stone that takes a 12-inch pizza or pan. This portable pizza oven comes in Olive or Off-Black.

Care & Maintenance

  • Give it the full twenty minutes to cool before packing or covering it.
  • Shut the gas at the tank before disconnecting the regulator.
  • Lift out the cordierite stone once cool and brush it; never wash it with soap or water.
  • Flip the stone and run the oven hot to burn off marks that will not brush away.
  • Wipe the painted body with a damp cloth and dry it, especially after a trip.
  • For outdoor use only. Store indoors between cooks.
