Golden Designs Vorarlberg 5 Person Traditional Outdoor Sauna is a 5-person outdoor sauna with an 8.0 kW stove and built-in controls for classic traditional heat. It is built from natural reforested Canadian hemlock with a waterproof stain on the exterior and a bronze privacy tempered glass door. Chromotherapy color lighting with red light therapy sets the mood inside, while an exterior roof with accent lighting highlights it in your yard. An interior LED control panel with FM radio and Bluetooth plays through built-in speakers, and a sandglass, bucket and scoop are included. The ideal temperature range is 170–185°F, and the sauna can heat up to 190°F.

How To Use

  1. Place the sauna on a dry, level surface away from any source of water, such as a concrete base, wood deck or concrete cinder blocks.
  2. Have a certified licensed electrician install a dedicated 240V / 40 amp circuit for the heater and a 120V / 15 amp outlet for the control panel, using copper wire rated 90°C.
  3. Follow the heater's own instructions and safety precautions to heat the sauna.
  4. Press the control panel power button; the display shows - - - - and the chromotherapy light turns on. Use the right button for the roof lights and the left button and remote for the chromotherapy light.
  5. Press the Bluetooth button to play music (the screen shows bLU) or press FM for the radio; the panel locks after 3 minutes without use, so press and hold the power button to unlock it.
  6. Stop immediately if you feel overheated, dizzy, weak, sleepy or faint, and do not touch the glass door hinges during use as they get very hot.
  7. Never use the sauna with alcohol, medication or drugs, or during a storm.
  8. Drink water before, during and after each session to replace fluids lost through sweating.
  9. Clean the interior with plain water and a soft cloth, wipe the floor after each session, and apply an exterior wood water repellent within a month of assembly and 2–3 times per year.
