Golden Designs Loviisa 3 Person Black Barn Hybrid Outdoor Sauna is a three person barn-style outdoor sauna with a black finish that lets you choose an 8.0 kW traditional stove or PureTech™ full spectrum infrared heat. The infrared side uses 11 emitters: 5 carbon PureTech™ Near Zero EMF heating panels and 6 near infrared heating elements. An all-weather exterior surrounds an all-natural Canadian red cedar interior behind a clear tempered glass door. Ceiling galaxy star color therapy lighting, a sauna backrest with accent light, an LED control panel with Bluetooth and built-in speakers, plus a sandglass, bucket and scoop are included. Stove mode reaches an ideal 170–185°F (up to 190°F), and infrared mode runs 118–132°F (up to 140°F).

How To Use

  1. Place the sauna on a level concrete base or wood deck, with the support cradles on cinder blocks to prevent settling and 12 inches of clearance at the vents.
  2. Have a certified licensed electrician connect a dedicated 240V / 40 amp circuit using copper wire rated 90°C, and install the stove about 3 inches above the floor panel.
  3. Assemble the sauna with three adults following the owner's manual.
  4. For a traditional session, turn the control panel off, set the main power switch to 1 and heat with the stove's built-in controls; do not use it above 190°F.
  5. For an infrared session, set the main power switch to 2, hold the control panel power button for 5 seconds until it beeps, then press the infrared button so it turns green; use the clock and thermometer buttons to set time and temperature.
  6. On the Light/Bluetooth panel, use the light bulb button for accent lighting, the next button for star lighting (hold 5 seconds to choose colors L1–L9), and BT or FM for music.
  7. Do not spend more than 40 minutes in the sauna at a time, and exit immediately if you feel dizzy, sleepy or any discomfort.
  8. Turn the main power switch to 0 after use, and shut the sauna down for 1 hour after every 4 hours of use.
  9. Clean the interior with plain water and a soft cloth and wipe the floor after each session; wash non-wood exterior panels with water, mild soap and a soft-bristle brush twice a year (no pressure washer), and seal any exterior wood 2–3 times per year.
