Golden Designs Kaskinen 6 Person Barn Hybrid Outdoor Sauna is a 6-person barn-style outdoor sauna that lets you choose between an 8.0 kW traditional stove and PureTech™ full spectrum infrared heat. The infrared side uses 15 emitters: 7 carbon PureTech™ Near Zero EMF heating panels and 8 near infrared heating elements. An all-weather exterior surrounds an all-natural Canadian red cedar interior behind a clear tempered glass door. A ceiling galaxy star color therapy lighting system, an interior sauna backrest with accent light, an LED control panel with Bluetooth and built-in speakers, plus a sandglass, bucket and scoop are included. Stove mode reaches an ideal 170–185°F (up to 190°F), and infrared mode runs 118–132°F (up to 140°F).

How To Use

  1. Place the sauna outdoors on a level, dry base such as a concrete pad or wood deck that can support its weight.
  2. Have a certified licensed electrician connect a dedicated 240V / 40 amp circuit using copper wire rated 90°C; aluminum wiring cannot be used.
  3. Assemble the sauna following the owner's manual, and never insert body parts or objects into the heater.
  4. For a traditional session, turn the main power switch to 1 and heat with the stove's built-in controls; the control panel stays unlit in stove mode.
  5. For an infrared session, turn the main power switch to 2, hold the control panel power button for 5 seconds until it beeps, then press the heater button so it turns from red to green.
  6. Set the timer with the clock buttons and the temperature with the thermometer buttons; press C/F to switch the display.
  7. Do not spend more than 40 minutes in the sauna at any one time.
  8. Drink water before, during and after each session to replace fluids lost through sweating.
  9. Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, sleepy or any discomfort.
  10. Do not use the sauna during an electrical storm.
  11. Clean with plain water and a soft cloth only, never liquid or aerosol cleaners, and wipe the floor of perspiration and debris after each session.
