The Gargellen Hybrid Sauna Brings Modern Five Person Wellness to Your Backyard

Golden Designs Gargellen 5 Person Hybrid Outdoor Sauna is a 5-person outdoor sauna with a shingled roof that lets you switch between an 8.0 kW traditional stove and PureTech™ full spectrum infrared heat. The infrared side uses 10 emitters: 4 carbon PureTech™ Near Zero EMF panels and 6 near infrared elements. It is built from natural reforested Canadian hemlock with a waterproof exterior stain, a bronze privacy tempered glass door and roof accent lighting. Chromotherapy lighting with red light therapy, an LED control panel with FM radio and Bluetooth, built-in speakers and a sandglass, bucket and scoop round out the features. The stove heats to an ideal 170–185°F (up to 190°F), while infrared mode runs 118–132°F (up to 140°F).

How To Use

  1. Place the sauna on a dry, level concrete base or wood deck, or on concrete cinder blocks, in a well-ventilated spot away from water.
  2. Have a certified licensed electrician connect a dedicated 240V / 40 amp circuit using copper wire rated 90°C.
  3. Assemble the sauna with three adults following the owner's manual.
  4. For a traditional session, turn the sauna control panel off, set the main power switch to 1 and heat with the stove's built-in controls; do not use it above 190°F.
  5. For an infrared session, set the main power switch to 2, hold the control panel power button for 5 seconds until it beeps, then press the infrared button so it turns green; the bench near infrared heater has its own I/O switch.
  6. Set the timer with the clock buttons and the temperature with the thermometer buttons, and hold C/F to switch units.
  7. On the Light/Bluetooth panel, use the light bulb icon and remote for chromotherapy or red light therapy, the next button for roof lights, and BT (the screen shows bLU) or FM for music.
  8. Do not spend more than 40 minutes in the sauna at a time, exit immediately if you feel dizzy, sleepy or any discomfort, and shut it down for 1 hour after every 4 hours of use.
  9. Turn the main power switch to 0 after use. Clean the interior with plain water and a soft cloth, wipe the floor after each session, and apply an exterior wood water repellent within a month of assembly and 2–3 times per year.
