Golden Designs Gargellen 5 Person Hybrid Flat Roof Outdoor Sauna is a 5-person outdoor sauna that lets you switch between an 8.0 kW traditional stove and PureTech™ full spectrum infrared heat. The infrared side uses 10 emitters: 4 carbon PureTech™ Near Zero EMF panels and 6 near infrared elements. It is built from natural reforested Canadian hemlock with a waterproof stain on the exterior and a bronze privacy tempered glass door. Chromotherapy lighting with red light therapy, an interior LED control panel with FM radio and Bluetooth, built-in speakers and a sandglass, bucket and scoop round out the features. The stove heats to an ideal 170–185°F (up to 190°F), while infrared mode runs 118–132°F (up to 140°F).

How To Use

  1. Install the sauna outdoors on a dry, level base; use a rain cover when it is not in use if your model does not have an outdoor roof.
  2. Have a certified electrician connect the sauna to a 240V / 40 amp circuit for the stove and full spectrum heaters.
  3. Inspect all heaters for damage before assembly, then assemble the sauna following the owner's manual.
  4. For a traditional session, turn the main power switch to 1 and heat with the stove's built-in controls to the ideal 170–185°F (77–85°C).
  5. For an infrared session, turn the main power switch to 2, hold the control panel power button for 5 seconds until it beeps, then press the infrared button so it turns green.
  6. Set the timer with the clock buttons and the temperature with the thermometer buttons; the bench near infrared heater has its own I/O switch.
  7. Turn the main power switch to 0 to shut the sauna off after use.
  8. Drink water before, during and after each session to replace fluids lost through sweating.
  9. Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, sleepy or any discomfort.
  10. Unplug the sauna before cleaning, then wipe it with plain water and a soft cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners, benzene, alcohol or strong chemicals on the wood.
