Sustainability plays an important role in how we design, source, and manufacture our outdoor furniture. We focus on responsible material sourcing, environmentally conscious production, and long-lasting product design to help reduce environmental impact while supporting the communities involved in our supply chain.
Responsibly Sourced Teak
We use teak wood sourced from sustainably managed plantations that follow responsible forestry practices. These plantations are carefully monitored to ensure that harvesting is balanced with long-term forest regeneration.
Many of these forests follow internationally recognized certification standards, such as Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) guidelines, which help ensure that timber is harvested in a way that protects ecosystems, wildlife habitats, and local communities.
By using plantation-grown teak, forests are able to regenerate naturally while still providing a reliable supply of high-quality wood.
Supporting Sustainable Forestry Communities
Sustainable teak plantations also benefit local farming communities. During the early growth stages of teak trees, farmers are able to grow additional crops between the rows of trees. This approach allows the land to be used efficiently while providing farmers with additional income.
Through responsible sourcing, we support forestry practices that encourage economic development while protecting natural resources.
Environmentally Responsible Manufacturing
Our sustainability efforts extend beyond sourcing. We aim to minimize environmental impact through responsible production methods and efficient manufacturing processes.
Designing durable outdoor furniture is also part of this commitment. Long-lasting products reduce the need for frequent replacement, which helps conserve raw materials and lowers long-term environmental impact.
Sustainable Farm and Garden Initiative
As part of our sustainability efforts, we maintain a company farm and garden where fruits, vegetables, and herbs are grown for employees. This initiative promotes sustainable land use while providing fresh produce for our team.
The farm is managed using environmentally conscious practices that support soil health and responsible resource use.
A Long-Term Approach to Sustainability
Sustainability is integrated into multiple aspects of our operations—from responsible teak sourcing to environmentally mindful manufacturing and community engagement.
By focusing on responsible forestry, durable product design, and sustainable initiatives, we aim to reduce environmental impact while continuing to create high-quality outdoor furniture designed to last for many years.
