What is a music room?

A music room is a room or corner of the home set up for listening to or making music. It often combines a sound source, comfortable listening space and acoustic treatment.

How much does it cost to set up a music room at home?

It depends on what you add. Record players here start at $59, Sonos speakers run $189 to $599, and GIK Acoustics panels start at $64 each, so a simple setup can cost a few hundred dollars.

How much do record players cost?

Our Crosley, Arkrocket and Victrola turntables run from $59 to about $460, and turntable accessories start at $5.

How much does a jukebox cost?

Arkrocket jukeboxes run about $160 to $2,100. Full-size Crosley and Marshall jukeboxes: pricing available on request — call 512-777-0154.

Do I need acoustic panels in a music room?

Many rooms benefit from them. Acoustic panels absorb reflections, bass traps target low frequencies in corners, and diffusers scatter sound; GIK panels run $64 to $199, bass traps $84 to $399 and diffusers $69 to $399.

What sizes do GIK acoustic panels come in?

The GIK Classic Acoustic Panel comes in 2' x 2', 1' x 4', 2' x 3' and 2' x 4' shapes and in twenty colors.
