How much do GIK acoustic panels cost?

GIK acoustic panels here start at $64 for the Classic Acoustic Panel, with most panels running $64 to $164 depending on style and size; the FreeStand Acoustic Panel is $199. Bass traps run $84 to $459 and diffusers $69 to $599.

What sizes and colors do GIK panels come in?

The Classic Acoustic Panel comes in four shapes (2ft x 2ft Square, 1ft x 4ft Narrow, 2ft x 3ft Portrait and 2ft x 4ft Rectangle) and twenty colors such as Black, Off-White, Dolphin and Lead. Diffusers like the Q7D come in 4-foot Standard and 2-foot Demi sizes with Beech, Black, Walnut or White finishes.

What is the difference between an acoustic panel, a bass trap and a diffuser?

Acoustic panels absorb mid and high frequencies to reduce echo, bass traps are built to control low-frequency buildup (often in corners), and diffusers scatter sound instead of absorbing it. Browse each type in our acoustic panels, bass traps and sound diffusers collections.

What is the GIK FreeStand acoustic panel?

The FreeStand Acoustic Panel ($199) and FreeStand Bass Trap Panel ($249 to $299) are freestanding versions designed to stand on their own rather than mount on a wall. Freestand Feet are also sold separately for $29.

How do you hang GIK acoustic panels?

Most panels mount on walls, and this collection also offers a Ceiling Cloud Bracket ($19) for overhead clouds and a FlexRange Panel Stand ($69). Follow the manufacturer's mounting instructions for your panel and wall or ceiling type.

How many acoustic panels do I need?

It depends on room size, hard surfaces and how the room is used; many rooms start with treatment at the first reflection points and bass traps in the corners, then add more as needed. Call 512-777-0154 if you want help choosing products.
