How much does an outdoor rug cost?

Our outdoor rugs start at $29 for the smallest sizes. The Couristan Ascot rug, for example, is $289 in 5' x 8', $579 in 8' x 10' and $789 in 9' x 12'.

What material is best for an outdoor rug?

Synthetic fibers such as polypropylene and recycled PET are common choices because they resist moisture, mold and fading. Our Cape rugs are polypropylene and our Ascot rugs are recycled PET.

Can outdoor rugs be used indoors?

Yes. These Couristan rugs are rated for indoor and outdoor use, and their product pages suggest them for living rooms as well as patios and decks. See our area rugs for more options.

What size outdoor rug do I need?

Measure the seating area and choose a rug large enough for at least the front legs of your furniture to sit on it. Common sizes here include 5' x 8', 8' x 10' and 9' x 12'.

How do you clean an outdoor rug?

Many of our Cape rugs can be hosed down and left to dry. In general, sweep or shake off debris often and let the rug dry fully before rolling it up.

Can outdoor rugs be left outside in the rain?

Our Cape rugs are made to handle rain and sunlight, and Ascot rugs resist mold. Even so, letting a rug dry fully and storing it during long wet or winter stretches can help it last longer.
